Knitting

The photos above show very well how I work. I must confess I'm a knitter.

I make a very rough sketch and then draw little bits untill they are finished, before I move on to the next bit.

I am to curious how things will look to sketch and draw everything first before I fill in the colour!

This watercolour drawing is roughly 1 meter x 1 meter, and will be blown up even bigger to become a giant advent calender at the Catharijne Convent Museum here in Utrecht. It is based on a Little Golden Book (in Dutch) we did for them: Angelino and the three kings, and will be on show before christmas.
