My garden has suffered from frost already for a few nights this last week, so I'm inclined to pick every last little flower, and put them in a tiny vase. The Brittish painter Kurt Jackson (1961) picks such tiny vase-fulls wherever he is working, and creates the most beautiful little still life paintings from them.
I think they can easily compete with the big flower arrangement still life paintings of the 17the century.
