Sometimes I come across artists on the internet, whose work I have never seen for real. Like this week's hero John Elwyn (1916-1997)
Elwyn was a welshman who painted his childhood landscape and people.
His work is described as nostalgic and even anecdotal (so far so good)
His motto was a quote by Benjamin Britten: The important things are the local things.
I hope to see his work 'in the flesh' one day!
