Monday hero: Laurits Andersen Ring

We start of in 2019 with the Danish artist L.A.Ring (1854-1933), for no other reason than I like his work.

Ring came from a simple crofters family. Rural life always remained subject of his work.

He married another painter, Sigrid Kähler. The painting top left is a portrait of her.
